A letter from Richard O. and Donna A. Lindsey
I have made it a practice to write letters of thanks only for people who and companies that perform well above expectations. Such are the individuals who worked on our hardscaping/landscaping project from beginning to end; and such is Calgo Gardens, the company that attracted and has retained those individuals who exhibited respect, a willingness to work unbelievably hard and whose dedication to perfection far exceeded the standards which we were prepared to accept based on our prior experience. Even the contractor which did the hardscaping on the project around the corner from our home (where your guys were able to dump a great deal of fill) expressed admiration for the quality of the completed job, noting many of the areas not readily recognized by the average homeowner but which separate the “men from the boys.” The same types of comments were voluntarily offered by many of the trades working on the interior renovations to our home.
However, the most impressive comments came from the contractor responsible for our interior renovations. I have known him for many years and have the highest regard for him. His operation is the equal of Cargo Gardens but in a different area of expertise. He does most of the upscale projects in the Haddonfield area purely by word of mouth and basically sets the standards which his competitors strive to meet, but don’t frequently achieve. On more than a few occasions he reassured us that we had engaged one of the most impressive companies of its kind and even recommended that a major client include Calgo as a potential contractor for a major home renovation project.
As for the Lindsey’s, you have converted a nondescript house into a home surrounded by dreams. We almost feel like a tourist attraction at times. And the friendship we have formed with you and Penny is the beautiful bow that ties it all together. We thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.
